Jamaal Williams A Low-End Flex Play
2 years agoDetroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams produced just seven fantasy points in Week 2, confirming he's a mere touchdown-or-bust deep league flex play. Despite out-touching D'Andre Swift 13 to seven, his touches weren't valuable, so he didn't pay off for fantasy managers. Williams doesn't get enough receiving work to have a ton of consistent standalone value, so expect plenty of bust weeks moving forward. In standard leagues, he's a little bit more attractive since touchdowns and rushing yards are more valuable than in PPR leagues, but he's still far from as sure that. All that said, he's a great option if Swift (ankle) misses this contest.
