Jalin Hyatt Signs Rookie Deal
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt signed his four-year rookie deal that is worth $5.625 million on Monday. The Giants took Hyatt in the third round of this year's NFL draft. The 21-year-old speedster from the University of Tennessee injured his hamstring at the scouting combine, but he should be healthy enough to be available for training camp at the end of July. Hyatt has gained some weight recently and should challenge Darius Slayton and Isaiah Hodgins for playing time on the outside immediately in 2023. Still, New York also has wideouts Parris Campbell, Sterling Shepard and Wan'Dale Robinson, so it could be tough for Hyatt to carve out consistent production for fantasy managers in Year 1 in the NFL.
