Jalen Williams Sprains Ankle Sunday, Will Not Return
9 months agoOklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams (ankle) landed awkwardly on a cameraman in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. He promptly went back to the locker room and the team announced it was a sprained right ankle and he would not return to the game. Cason Wallace was the one to start in his place for the second half as the Thunder were having an easy time with the short-handed Grizzlies. It seems more than likely that Williams will miss at least one game with a sprained ankle, but the official report will probably come out on Monday. If that's the case, Wallace and Josh Giddey would both see more opportunities and could be solid streaming options.
