Jalen Virgil Comes Out Of Nowhere With 66-Yard Touchdown
2 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver Jalen Virgil came out of nowhere in the Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday for his first career reception, which just so happened to be a 66-yard touchdown strike from quarterback Russell Wilson in busted coverage from the Titans secondary. The 24-year-old from Appalachian State was mostly a return specialist in his college days, and he had yet to play a snap in the NFL with the Broncos before this game. It's safe to say that this was an anomaly with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) getting injured early in the game on Sunday. Fantasy managers shouldn't read anything into this fluky long TD. If Jeudy misses time with his injury, Kendall Hinton will likely operate as the Broncos' No. 2 receiver.
