3 years agoLas Vegas running back Jalen Richard (leg) was placed on the injured reserve Thursday. It's been a rough start to the preseason for Richard. He began training camp on the reserve/COVID-19 list and is now out until Week 4 of the regular season with a leg injury. The 27-year-old rushed for 123 yards on 22 attempts and a touchdown while catching 19 passes for 138 yards over 13 games in 2020. He is mainly used in third-down situations and expected to be third on the RB depth chart behind Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake. Las Vegas recently signed Peyton Barber for depth purposes and will be the RB3 while Richard is sidelined. Richard is a PPR specialist and doesn't offer much fantasy upside in 2021.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
