Jalen McDaniels Gets A Double-Double As Starter
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward Jalen McDaniels was back in the starting lineup on Tuesday against Detroit, and he celebrated it with a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double in a 102-99 win. The 23-year-old got the nod with P.J. Washington (personal) and Miles Bridges (health and safety protocols) sidelined for the game. McDaniels also posted three steals, one assist and one block with 4-for-11 shooting from the field. Bridges, who has played great basketball lately, is set to miss multiple games, and there hasn't been an update on Washington's status yet, so McDaniels might just get a few more chances this week. He's averaging 11.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals as a starter.
