Jalen Hurts Slapped With Questionable Tag
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said that quarterback Jalen Hurts (ankle) is questionable for the Week 13 game against the New York Jets. "It's an unknown right now," Sirianni said. Hurts got in some limited practices this week, so he seems to be on the right side of questionable. Fantasy managers will at least know first thing Sunday morning whether the second-year signal-caller is active. And if he is active, Hurts should be in starting lineups as a QB1, although limited mobility because of his ankle injury could hurt his overall ceiling. Hurts had just 129 passing yards, no touchdowns and a season-high three interceptions in last week's loss to the New York Giants, but the Jets defense is usually a good cure for what is ailing a QB. They give up the fourth-most passing yards per game and have surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points per game to QBs in the last three weeks. Gardner Minshew II would be in line to make his first start of the year if Hurts can't play.
