Jalen Hurts Scores Two Rushing Touchdowns In Sloppy Win
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 14 of 22 passes for 150 yards and an interception while adding 12 carries for 29 yards and two rushing touchdowns during the team's 21-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The stat line does not do justice for how well the 25-year-old played Monday night, but both quarterbacks in this matchup had below-average games compared to how they have performed this season because of the steady rainfall all game long. The Kansas City pass rush was in Hurts' face for the majority of the first half, but the fourth-year quarterback was able to get the passing attack going in the second half and helped propel the offense to two scores, don't he stretch to seal the win. For fantasy purposes, this will go down as Hurts' worst performance since Week 3. With that said, he will remain a top-three option next week against a rejuvenated Buffalo Bills team.
