3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts hasn't been the ideal NFL quarterback this season, but he's been more than what his fantasy managers could have expected. Despite leading the Eagles to a 1-3 record so far and showing that he has not done much in his development as a passer, Hurts is the overall QB3 in standard fantasy formats. He's taken advantage of getting almost all of the designed run calls on the Eagles offense combined with garbage time passing stats. He threw for 387 yards against the Chiefs in Week 4, but will have a tougher matchup against a strong Carolina Panthers secondary in Week 5. That just means he'll have to get more of his fantasy points on the ground instead of through the air. Hurts is a mid-range QB1 with upside, especially if the Eagles fall behind early and just have him chuck the ball downfield again.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
