Jalen Hurts Could Get $50 Million Per Year
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is heading into his final season of his rookie contract. That being said, the organization is hopeful to reach an agreement on an extension with Hurts this offseason. ESPN's Dan Graziano believes Hurts could get $50 million or more per year from the Eagles. The 24-year-old does not have a fifth-year option because he was a second-round pick. That means, the Eagles are likely to get a deal done sooner rather than later before the price tag goes any higher. Hurts put together an MVP-like performance this past season. He is certainly deserving of a significant pay raise, but $50 million per season is a tough cap hit. It'll be interesting to see what happens over the course of the offseason.
