Jalen Brunson Shines After One-Game Absence
10 months agoNew York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) was available for Saturday's matchup against the Indiana Pacers. After the All-Star tweaked his ankle in Tuesday's win over the Memphis Grizzlies, he didn't suit up on Thursday versus the Dallas Mavericks. But he was back in the lineup for the meeting with Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers. While New York couldn't pull off a win, Brunson picked up right where he left off before going down with the ailment, finishing with a game-high 39 points. He struggled from deep, going 1-for-5, although he made all 10 tries from the charity stripe. The 27-year-old continues to get it done for fantasy managers, and he's now averaging 34.3 points in February. Barring any issues with the ankle, Brunson should be in the lineup for Monday's clash with the Houston Rockets.
