Jalen Brunson Out At Least Two Weeks
1 month agoAccording to ESPN's Shams Charania, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) will miss time after suffering a sprained right ankle in Thursday's overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The 28-year-old has had a fantastic 2024-25 campaign, averaging 26.1 points, 7.4 assists, and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 38.8% from behind the arc. With the Knicks gearing up for a deep postseason run, the team certainly won't rush him back, meaning he may be out a little longer. While Brunson is sidelined, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart should all receive more scoring chances. Precious Achiuwa and Miles McBride may also split time in the starting lineup, although both should be more productive without Brunson on the floor.
