Washington Capitals left wing Jakub Vrana posted his first multi-point effort of the season on Friday, helping the team to a 4-3 shootout win over Buffalo. The Czech winger scored the team's third goal and combined with John Carlson to set up Nic Dowd. Carlson, who posted a team-high six shots, went on to score the only goal in the shootout. Vrana finished with three shots and was plus-three for the game, adding one block to his tally. With Alex Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov out due to the league's COVID-19 protocols, the team needs more from others and Vrana certainly provided it on Friday. He'll look to do it again in Sunday's rematch with the Sabres.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
