Jakobi Meyers Produces Little In Raiders Big Win Over Ravens
2 months agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers took a step back production-wise after his nice Week 1 performance, finishing with just four catches for 29 yards in Sunday's upset win over the Baltimore Ravens, which was good for 6.9 PPR fantasy points. Meyers wasn't able to produce against a Ravens' elite secondary, and that's not a huge surprise considering quarterback Gardner Minshew II isn't exactly elite. What's more concerning for fantasy managers is Meyers taking a clear backseat to rookie tight end Brock Bowers. It appears Meyers is, at best, the third option in the passing game. Meyers will have a chance to contribute more significantly when the Raiders face the Carolina Panthers in Week 3.
