Jakobi Meyers Looking To Rebound In Week 5
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had his worst outing of the year, collecting only two catches for 33 yards on four targets against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Raiders receiver was catching passes from rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell in Week 4. The two clearly were not on the same page on Sunday. Meyers missed Week 2 with a concussion but returned to play in Weeks 3 and 4. Meyers is set to face the Green Bay Packers on Monday night. The Packers have the ninth-best PFF grade for defensive coverage against receivers, but the volume Meyers is seeing makes him a solid WR2 with upside if Adams misses. Adams sustained a shoulder injury in the first half against the Chargers. The good news for fantasy managers is Meyers has Garoppolo throwing him the ball again, and he could operate as the WR1 for the Raiders on Monday. Meyers is tied for the third-most red zone targets through four weeks, even while missing Week 2. Fantasy managers should be excited to start Meyers as a high-end WR2 against the Packers in Week 5.
