Jakobi Meyers Exits Week 17 Early With Shoulder Injury
2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) exited Sunday's win over the Miami Dolphins early with a shoulder injury. He injured his shoulder during a touchdown catch in the fourth quarter and did not return. The 26-year-old caught six of his nine targets for 48 yards and a touchdown before exiting. Meyers will undergo further evaluation after the game and is considered day-to-day. Fantasy managers will need to monitor his practice status throughout the week. Meyers has been New England's top wide receiver, and his absence would be a slight blow to the Patriots' offense against the Bills for the regular season finale. Tyquan Thornton, Kendrick Bourne, and Nelson Agholor would see an uptick in targets if Meyers cannot play in Week 18.
