Jake Rogers Expected To Miss 2-3 Weeks
3 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher Jake Rogers (forearm) was placed on the injured list on Monday after feeling discomfort in his forearm. He underwent tests and was diagnosed with a pronator teres strain. The injury is expected to keep him sidelined for two or three weeks. The Tigers called up Grayson Greiner from Triple-A after placing Rogers on the injured list. Greiner and Eric Haase will split catching duties while Rogers is out. Over 38 games this year, Rogers has slashed .239/.306/.496 with six home runs, 17 RBI and 17 runs.
