1 day agoDallas Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger will get the starting nod on Monday evening against the Minnesota Wild. Oettinger received the starting nod in their previous contest and picked up the victory as he stopped 22 of the 24 shots he saw against the Philadelphia Flyers. This evening, he will face a tougher task against the Minnesota Wild, who currently occupy one of the wild cards in the Western Conference. Over his past five contests, Oettinger has struggled to find consistency as he has posted a modest 3.59 GAA with a .865 save percentage and a 2-2-1 record. However, before this stretch, Oettinger held a strong 4-1 record with a .910 save percentage with a 2.99 GAA.
