2 years agoDallas Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger stopped 22-of-23 shots on goal in Monday's 2-1 victory against the Kraken in Game 7 of the Western Conference second-round series. Oettinger had a great performance to follow up his rough start in Game 6, where he was pulled after surrendering four goals on 18 shots. The 24-year-old goaltender was less than a minute from posting a shutout in the elimination game, until Kraken forward Oliver Bjorkstrand got the team on the board with his late goal. Oettinger has posted a .903 save percentage and 2.75 goals against average through the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, with both totals regressing from his terrific regular season numbers. The Stars will need their number one goaltender to return to his best form for the Western Conference Final against the Golden Knights.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
