1 year agoNew Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Jake Haener had a modest outing on Sunday night, playing the second half of the win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Haener went 11-for-17 through the air for 118 yards with no touchdowns or turnovers. The 24-year-old fourth round pick has a lot of upside to be a quality backup in this league, but as of right now is slotted in as the third option on the New Orleans depth chart behind Derek Carr and Jameis Winston.
