Jake Funk Runs Well In Preseason Game
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Jake Funk is one of the many looking to break into the team's running back rotation, and he worked well to make his case in the second week of the preseason against the Las Vegas Raiders. He had seven carries for 56 yards on the day. His eight yards per carry was 3.4 more than any other back for the Rams. He thoroughly outplayed teammate Xavier Jones, who, on seven carries, had just 29 yards on the ground. Both of these players will likely be the backup to Darrell Henderson Jr., but a role as the second running back in the backfield is up for grabs between these two.
