Jake Elliott Converts Two Field Goals, Nails Three Extra Points
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott made both of his field goal attempts from fewer than 40 yards away and converted all three of his extra points during the team's 38-35 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. It was a strong end to the season for the 28-year-old, who posted the second-lowest field goal attempt and conversion totals of his career. The Eagles' offense saw such little resistance from finding the end zone once they were in scoring range this season that Elliott was rarely given a chance to attempt a three-point conversion. It made him an extremely boom-or-bust fantasy option, even with a career-high 53 extra-point attempts under his belt. The sixth-year kicker will be left off of the majority of draft boards this coming August and will not be viewed as a viable fantasy option unless he proves otherwise.
