2 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth (rest) is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. The 29-year-old appears to be getting a routine day off on Friday. He has struggled with the bat, so he could certainly use a day off to try and get back in a groove. Through 14 games, Cronenworth is hitting .196 with one home run and two RBI. Brandon Dixon will cover first base and bat seventh against lefty Eric Lauer on Friday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
