Jake Cronenworth Drives Home Two Runs In Saturday's Victory
2 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth helped lead the Padres to the National League Championship Series when he went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers to win the Division Series 3-1. The 28-year-old's hitting .241 with a lowly .586 OPS across seven postseason games thus far but does have five RBI and a home run. Cronenworth had an unspectacular though acceptable 2022 season in which he hit .240 with 17 HRs, 88 runs, 88 RBI, and three stolen bases over 158 games. He'll try to heat up and keep the run production going in the next series when the Padres take on the Philadelphia Phillies.
