1 day agoTexas Rangers first baseman Jake Burger (illness) is back at first base and is hitting seventh for the Rangers on Wednesday against the division-rival Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Jose Soriano at Globe Life Park. Burger missed the series-opening win over the Halos on Tuesday with a mild illness but will return for the second game of the series. The 29-year-old right-handed power hitter has gotten off to a slow start in his first year in Texas, going 8-for-53 (.151) with two home runs, two doubles, seven RBI, only one walk and 15 strikeouts in 15 games played. Although he resides in a strong Rangers lineup, the fact that he's hitting near the bottom of the order gives him a low fantasy ceiling for DFS gamers.
