2 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Jake Burger (hand) is being held out of Tuesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Burger suffered a right hand contusion during Monday's game and is being considered day-to-day. Yoan Moncada will be covering the hot corner on Tuesday with Andrew Vaughn at designated hitter. Burger has been red hot at the plate over the past few weeks. He's slashing .359/.419/.795 with four home runs, five doubles, 10 RBI and 10 runs over 11 games in June. His hot streak has led to him earning an everyday role for the team lately.
