Jake Browning To Start Preseason Opener
1 year agoThe Cincinnati Bengals will not play the majority of their starters in the preseason opener on Friday night against the Green Bay Packers. The rookies and some of their younger players will see the most playing time. Quarterback Jake Browning is going to draw the start under center. Even if starter Joe Burrow wasn't dealing with a calf injury, he probably wouldn't be playing in the preseason opener. Both Browning and backup Trevor Siemian should see work against Green Bay. The 27-year-old Browning has yet to play a regular season game in the NFL. Reid Sinnett could also see some repetitions on Friday night at the QB position for Cincinnati.
