Jake Bauers With His First Four-Hit Game Monday
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Jake Bauers recorded his first career four-hit game of his young career Monday versus Washington. He would score twice while driving in one run as the Rays won 11-0. His on-base percentage is now a great .416 so far in his rookie run. The only one of the five traditional hitting categories he hasn't made an impact in is steals and power. Bauers had five home runs and 10 steals at Triple-A this season, so there is some speed to work with. Bauers was one of the top Rays prospects and is an interesting buy in dynasty leagues. In terms of redraft formats, Bauers is a deep mixed or AL-only type of asset for now but with upside.
