4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman/outfielder Jake Bauers entered as a pinch-hitter in Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox and stole a base after being hit by a pitch in his only plate appearance. Bauers now has six steals on the year. With only 19 plate appearances in 10 September games, Bauers is simply not rosterable in fantasy leagues, but he's seemingly forged out a safe spot on Seattle's major league roster as a bench bat against lefties.--Doug Goldring
