6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Jake Bauers continued on his power barrage Wednesday versus Los Angeles. He would draw two walks to go with a two-run HR. The HR was his ninth of the season and was his third straight game with a homer. He has 176 at-bats in 2018 and if you triple his numbers to simulate a full season with 500+ AB, he would have 25+ HR, 80+ RBI, 90+ runs scored and possibly 10 stolen bases. There are no guarantees he would keep up the pace, but he was considered a top prospect there was excitement over before being brought up.
