Jake Bauers Drives In Three Runs Thursday Versus Baltimore
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Jake Bauers came up clutch Thursday versus the Orioles. First, batting with a runner at third and down a run, Bauers would hit a sacrifice fly to tie the game at 3-3. After the Orioles took the lead back, he would then deliver a two-run single to provide the winning margin in the 5-4 victory. Bauers has now driven in five over his past three games. His batting average is still a concern but he keeps drawing walks so his OBP is a respectable .350. Bauers is a decent deep league option in redraft and an interesting guy to own in longer-term formats.
