Jaison Chourio Continues Strong Play At Single-A
4 months agoCleveland Guardians outfield prospect Jaison Chourio posted a strong .300/.462/.500 slash line with a triple, a home run, three RBI, a 6:4 BB:K ratio, and an eye-catching 11 swiped bags over the past week at Single-A Lynchburg. Chourio stole at least three bases in three games in this span. This was another dominant week Chourio has enjoyed this season, as he now sits with an excellent .277/.402/.411 slash line, four home runs, 52 RBI, 37 stolen bases through 80 games. The 19-year-old has clearly proven he is ready to move up to High-A, and that promotion could be right around the corner. Chourio is showcasing elite potential and could find himself near the top of most prospect rankings come this time next summer.
