2 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher Jaime Barria has been named the starter for Monday's game against the Boston Red Sox. Manager Phil Nevin has decided to go with Barria over Chase Silseth who was originally scheduled to start. Now, Silseth will return to his high-leverage role out of the bullpen. Barria has been terrific out of the bullpen this season. He's currently holding a 1.96 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and a 21/6 K/BB ratio over 23 innings. It's worth noting that he hasn't thrown more than 58 pitches in a start this season. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to go deep into this game.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
