Jahmyr Gibbs A Risky PPR Play With Upside In NFL Debut
1 year agoDetroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs was selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, meaning the organization should waste no time getting him involved in the offensive game plan. However, there have been plenty of rookie running backs who are eased along early, so his overall workload could be limited. He should at least be the primary pass-catching back immediately, which could provide plenty of PPR fantasy output against a high-powered Chiefs offense. Starting any rookie in their game in the NFL is technically risky, but the Alabama product gets a nice matchup right away in what should be a high-scoring contest. Kansas City allowed the most receptions to running backs in 2022 (107)
