7 mins agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars requested an interview with Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores for their head-coach job, the Jaguars announced on Wednesday. Flores has been the D coordinator in Minnesota each of the last two years, and his aggressive coaching style has really turned the unit around as the Vikings won 14 games in 2024. He was also previously the head coach for the Miami Dolphins before eventually suing the league for racial discrimination. Despite that being in his past in the NFL, Flores has also been requested to interview for head-coaching positions with the Chicago Bears and New York Jets. After filing the lawsuit against the NFL in 2022, he was hired as an assistant with the Pittsburgh Steelers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
