1 year agoJacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said he expects quarterback Trevor Lawrence (knee) to start on Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints, pending a pregame workout. Lawrence has reported improvement in his mild left-knee sprain and said he's confident he will be out there in Week 7 after getting hurt in the Week 6 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The 24-year-old will be a game-time decision on Thursday night, but all signs are pointing toward him being active in a tough matchup on the road against the Saints. At less than 100 percent in a less-than-ideal matchup on the road, Lawrence profiles more as a high-end QB2 in fantasy leagues this week if he's active.
