Jadeveon Clowney Interested In Reunion With Texans
2 years agoFree-agent defensive end Jadeveon Clowney expressed interest in a reunion with the Houston Texans, the team he spent his first five seasons playing for. "All my family is here. Friends here. The guys I work out with can help me take care of my body a lot better being right up under them. I'll show you [I can still produce]," he said in an interview with Fox 26 Houston. Clowney had 24.5 sacks from 2016 to 2018 and made three straight Pro Bowls before signing with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019. His production with Seattle and one injury-limited season in Tennessee was not on par with his past success, but he had one good season with the Cleveland Browns. In 2021, Clowney had 9.0 sacks, 19 QB hits, and a total of 37 combined tackles. But in 2022, Clowney only had 2.0 sacks and complained publicly about being underutilized.
