Jaden Schwartz Returns To Blues Lineup
4 years agoSt. Louis Blues left wing Jaden Schwartz (lower body) will return to the lineup on Friday against San Jose. The 28-year-old missed over a month of action, last skating on Feb. 12. He was off to a productive start to the season with nine points and a plus-nine rating in 14 games with 23 shots. Schwartz will take up a spot on the first line alongside Brayden Schenn and Vladimir Tarasenko. He is pointless in two outings versus the Sharks this season but has 18 points in 21 career outings against them. Jordan Kyrou will drop down to the third line.

Jaden Schwartz Injured In Friday's Loss
1 year agoSeattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz suffered an upper-body injury in Friday's 3-0 loss to Winnipeg. The veteran got hurt early into the game, exiting after logging only 3:09 of ice time. Schwartz has been slumping for several weeks, but he's one of only five forwards on the team with double-digit goals and assists for the season. In 47 appearances, he's posted 11 goals and 12 assists. Andre Burakovsky might get a chance to rejoin the top six if Schwartz won't be available on Tuesday versus Vegas.

Jaden Schwartz Back In Action On Tuesday
1 year agoSeattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz (lower body) will hop back into the lineup on Tuesday against Buffalo. He's been activated from Injured Reserve following a 16-game absence. Schwartz has played well as a top-six piece for Seattle, notching eight goals and 15 points in 23 games. He should slot into a second-line role and skate with the top power-play unit. Eight of Schwartz's 15 points have come with the man advantage. Buffalo's penalty-killing is one of the worst in the league, so the Kraken veteran finds himself in a good position to make an immediate impact in his return.

Jaden Schwartz Participates Fully In Practice
1 year agoSeattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz (lower body) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and wore a regular jersey. Schwartz hasn't played since November 28 after suffering a lower-body injury, but is now deemed day-to-day and could return at any point. Schwartz was off to a strong start before his injury, posting 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) in 23 games as part of the Kraken's top six and first powerplay unit. Presuming he retakes his pre-injury role, he is a decent option in points leagues. Tomas Tatar could see his role diminished when Schwartz returns.

Jaden Schwartz Lands On Injured Reserve
1 year agoSeattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz (lower body) has been placed on Injured Reserve. The veteran starts a spell on the sidelines after getting hurt in a clash with the Blackhawks on Tuesday. Schwartz has played at a high level this season, sitting second on the team in goals scored (8) and sharing the third spot in points (15). Tye Kartye and Kailer Yamamoto are candidates to step into a bigger role during Schwartz's absence.
