JaCoby Jones Hits Game-Winning Home Run
4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder JaCoby Jones helped lead the team to their first victory of the year on Saturday, hitting a two-run home run in the ninth inning en route to a 6-4 Tigers victory over the Cincinnati Reds. Jones went 2-for-4 in the game and scored two runs. He's hit ninth in the order in each of the team's first two games, but has clearly been one of the team's most productive hitters, with three hits overall. He could be moving up in the lineup soon, but regardless, he'll be plagued by having an uninspiring lineup around him and his career to-date hasn't inspired much confidence in fantasy production either. He can be left on waivers in just about all leagues.
