Jacoby Brissett Throws TD, Interception In Week 5
2 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 21 of his 34 passes for 230 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a 30-28 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5. Brissett also added 32 yards on three carries in the loss. The Browns got both good and bad from Brissett as he ripped off a 20-yard scramble to extend a drive in the fourth quarter but then threw a back-breaking interception in the Los Angeles red zone later on the same drive. On the bright side, Brissett has been able to support Amari Cooper and David Njoku in the passing game while allowing Nick Chubb to do his thing on the ground. Brissett will be a low-end QB2 in a Week 6 home matchup against the New England Patriots.
