Jacoby Brissett Throws For 210 Yards In Overtime Win
2 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 23 of his 37 passes for 210 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a 23-17 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12. He added 27 yards on two carries in the contest. Brissett was quiet for most of the game before he found Amari Cooper for receptions of 17 and 45 yards in overtime to set up Nick Chubb's game-winning, three-yard touchdown run. His touchdown pass went for 12 yards on an exceptional one-handed catch by David Njoku in the back of the end zone to send the game into overtime. The veteran quarterback will head to the bench now as Deshaun Watson's 11-game suspension comes to an end this week. Brissett will operate as Watson's backup against the Houston Texans on the road in Week 13.
