Jacoby Brissett Has Sprained MCL
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett (knee) suffered a sprained left MCL in the Week 9 loss to the Steelers, but the team hasn't ruled him out yet for Week 10 against the Dolphins. The Colts are waiting for MRI results to determine the severity of the injury. It's likely that Brissett won't be able to play against Miami in a great matchup, but fantasy owners will have to wait and see. Backup Brian Hoyer came in to relieve Brissett on Sunday and tossed two touchdowns. He'd be on the low-end QB2 streaming radar if Brissett is ruled out this week, although the Colts figure to lean heavily on running backs Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines if Brissett is forced to miss time.
