5 years agoToronto Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said that pitcher Jacob Waguespack is likely to start on Tuesday against the Red Sox. Sean Reid-Foley is also a possibility next Thursday in place of Clayton Richard (lat), who landed on the injured list on Sunday. Waguespack, 25, has a 5.00 ERA in nine relief innings with 11 strikeouts for Toronto this season. He's sporting a 5.30 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 8.9 K/9 in 11 starts and one relief appearance in 52 2/3 innings at Triple-A Buffalo in 2019 and should be avoided at all costs across the board against the strong Boston lineup this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
