6 years agoWinnipeg Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba increased his assist total to 22 on Thursday night, picking up helpers on two third period goals. One of those assists came on the power play, where Trouba has now matched a career-high six power-play points on the season. With four more assists, Touba will set a new career best in assists for a season, and given his usage with teammate Dustin Byfuglien out of the lineup it should happen sooner rather than later. Trouba also has 17 blocks across his last five games, further inflating his fantasy value. While Byfuglien is out, Trouba is a solid pick-up in most formats.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
