Jacob Misiorowski Strikes Out Five Over Five Innings Of One-Run Ball
1 day agoMilwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski struck out five batters across five innings of one-run ball on Thursday evening. The right-hander allowed just two hits. However, he continued to struggle with his command as he served up three free passes. Through his first three starts of the Triple-A regular season, Misiorowski has held a stellar 0.66 ERA. However, his command his been a weakness as he held an underwhelming 10:16 BB:K while allowing just three total hits. Misiorowski spent most of the 2024 season at Double-A, where he held a 3.50 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP across 79 2/3 innings of work. He then earned a brief taste of Triple-A, where he posted a 2.55 ERA with a stellar 0.85 WHIP in 17 2/3 innings. Given the number of injuries in the Milwaukee rotation, Misiorowski could be nearing his MLB debut.
