Jacob Misiorowski Is One To Watch
18 seconds agoMilwaukee Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski has a 50 percent chance to make the Opening Day roster out of spring training, according to MLB's Jim Callis. "I think [his stuff] is as good as anyone in the Minor Leagues," Callis said. "He hasn't harnessed it." Misiorowski, who is ranked as MLB Pipeline's No. 100 overall prospect, is one of the best power arms in the minors after averaging 11.8 strikeouts per nine innings over 33 outings (19 starts) between Double-A and Triple-A in 2024. He stands at an imposing 6-foot-7 and features a triple-digit fastball. Although Misiorowski also walked 5.5 hitters per nine innings, he limited batters to a .167 average, displaying just how good his stuff actually is. The 22-year-old could probably use more seasoning in the minors, and he's going to need to throw more strikes to pass as a starter at the next level.
