New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom produced a special shutout in Saturday's 4-0 victory over the New York Rangers. He became only the second netminder in franchise history with multiple shutouts against the Rangers in a single season, joining Martin Brodeur. The Rangers failed to beat Markstrom with 29 shots on the net. New Jersey's No. 1 secured his fourth consecutive victory to improve to 26-14-6 for the season. He has totaled four shutouts while registering a 2.43 goals-against average with a .903 save percentage. Markstrom will look to post his second five-game winning streak of the season on Tuesday when the Devils face the struggling Boston Bruins.

New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom will get the starting nod on Wednesday evening against the Chicago Blackhawks. Markstrom is coming off a poor showing as he allowed three goals on 28 shots against the Vancouver Canucks. He will look to get back on track on the road in Chicago. Over his previous seven contests, Markstrom has posted an underwhelming 1-5-1 record with a high 4.00 GAA and an .848 save percentage. However, before this recent skid, the 35-year-old posted a strong 21-9-5 record with a 2.20 GAA and a .912 save percentage. Fantasy managers should view Markstrom as a solid option in all standard formats and a strong play in DFS formats facing a struggling Chicago team.

New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom (knee) was activated from Injured Reserve Sunday. He is poised to return to the lineup for Sunday's clash against the Vegas Golden Knights, although it's unclear if Markstrom will start the contest. Markstrom has been out since Jan. 22 due to an MCL sprain. He has played a big part in New Jersey's success this season, going 21-9-5 while recording three shutouts. Through 36 starts, he is sporting a 2.20 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage. Markstrom should receive plenty of work over the final stretch of the season as the Devils continue to battle for a playoff berth in the Metropolitan Division.

New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom (knee) will be out four-to-six weeks after undergoing imaging that revealed an MCL sprain. Markstrom was injured in Wednesday's game after a collision and will now miss the remainder of the Devil's games leading into the Four Nations break, which starts on February 12. Markstrom has been brilliant in his first season with in New Jersey, going 21-9-5 with a .912 SV%, 2.20 GAA, and 9.6 GSAA. Without him, the Devils will go with Jake Allen as their starting goalie and Isaac Poulter as the backup. Allen should be picked up by all Markstrom owners in fantasy, or by anyone who is in need of a starting goalie.
