Vancouver Canucks goaltender Jacob Markstrom recorded his first shutout of the season on Thursday with a 43-save effort in a 1-0 win over Carolina. The Swedish netminder tied Cory Schneider for the second-most saves in a shutout in Canucks history. Elias Pettersson picked up his 100th career point with a game-winning goal in overtime. Markstrom had a miserable six-game losing streak last month, but he's slowly started to regain his form. His record for the season now stands at 9-8-3 with a 2.58 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
