1 year agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (elbow) completed a 32-pitch bullpen session on Monday that, according to manager Bruce Bochy, went "really well." The right-hander will throw another bullpen session on Friday, and hopefully, there will be some clarity on an expected return date after that. deGrom told reporters he's "turned a corner," so he shouldn't be far off. Before landing on the injured list in late April with right forearm tightness, the 34-year-old was his normal self, pitching to a 2.67 ERA, 0.76 WHIP, and 39.1% strikeout rate with a pair of victories over six starts.
