Jacob deGrom Strikes Out 11 In Win
2 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (wrist) was forced to exit early during his last start, but felt good enough to pitch on Sunday. The superstar right-hander looked as sharp as ever during Sunday's 5-2 win over the Oakland Athletics. The A's offense had no answers for deGrom as they struck out 11 times over his six innings of work. The Rangers have now won all five of the games deGrom has started this season. The 34-year-old holds a 3.04 ERA and a 43/3 K/BB ratio in 26 2/3 innings for the Rangers right now.
